Ash’s creative practice involves writing novels, short fiction and poetry, and making zines herself and in collaboration with others. Her work experiments at the boundaries of social science and creative writing, and she is a recognised international leader in sociological fiction. She is also an experienced fiction editor. Ash received her Bachelor of Communications with Honours, majoring in Creative Writing and Literature, in 2014 from Griffith University. She has performed spoken word poetry at the Emerging Writers Festival in Melbourne, and interned with the Ubud Writers and Readers Festival in Bali, Indonesia.
